SYNOPSIS

LLOYD LOVE (COACH) is a retired American teacher who has a deep passion for hunting. He loves to experience the creation of God up close and in person. Coach and his best friend HARRY decided to book a hunting trip to South Africa to experience the beauty and the challenges that you face when hunting in South Africa. Accompanied by Ndloti Safari Adventures, Coach is sent on an adventure to harvest the most difficult antelope species in South Africa. Coach and Harry arrived in South Africa with great excitement for the adventure ahead. Starting with his first hunt, Coach was not prepared for the physical challenges that you face when hunting in South Africa. Being used to sitting in a blind waiting for the animals to come to you, Coach had to renew his mind in order to face the challenges ahead. After having missed two shots, he finally managed to take down the sable. He now has a new understanding of the challenges that he has to overcome in order to be able to pick off the animals on his list. Coach finds himself stalking and getting busted many times by different animals before he finally gets a chance to take down a kudu and a red heartebeest. He ends up harming the red heartebeest due to a lack of skills. Coach needed to refocus to make sure he doesn’t harm the animals. It is very important to Coach that he makes a clean ethical shot so that he causes that animal no pain. The wild, however, has a way of being too challenging for one person to face. Therefore, Coach had to give the professional hunter JACQUES the opportunity to bring down the black wildebeest because he was unable to.  After being busted by the white springbok (THE FLASH) the whole trip, Coach decided to face the challenge head-on and go after The Flash. Coach was unaware of the distance he needed to crawl in order to get to a good spot to take out the flash. After gathering enough courage, Coach embarked on this journey and ended up harvesting the animal that created the most havoc and challenges he had to face the whole trip. All in all, Coach overcame the physical challenges that he had to face in order to harvest the animals on his list. He got to experience the beauty of God’s creation by seeing beautiful landscapes as well as extraordinary animals such as giraffes, buffalos, eland, kudus, and many more. He enjoyed family and friends like never before and truly believes that Africa is the cradle of life. He can see the cradle of life in not just the valleys on the farm but also in the bushman drawings that they found in the small cave situated on this farm.
